It is often said “Change is the only constant”. Haven’t we all seen that? At the macro level, we have the entire universe and our own planet evolving – from formless matter to the incredibly complex life forms we now see. At the micro level, we see our own lives, years, days or even hours usher in change – small and big.
We react variously to change – some are nervous about change, some abhor them. Some fear change, while others adapt. Some resist change, while others trigger. Some surrender to change while others see them as an opportunity.
And while we see change all round, and (happily or reluctantly) be a part of the change, we rarely create change. Why?
We have newer vehicles, newer technology, newer languages, newer opportunities. And yet many amongst us drive mindlessly, many conduct themselves with not too much attention to etiquette, many act differently when someone is watching (like the law) than when someone is not, many pay little attention to the environment around us, many are focused more on self than on others …. the list could go on. And many of us let future generations inherit these traits thereby condemning them to continue without change….. Why?
This site will bring my thoughts on change, and why we should not only embrace change, but cause change.
In my blogs, I will sketch out my experiments with change – my successes and failures, and my current ongoing efforts.
It is my wish to reach out into my own neighborhood community, my city, my state, my country and indeed to the wide world to understand your thoughts on change and more importantly what YOU have been doing to cause change.
Thank you for stopping by – do please leave your thoughts in the comments box below (comments will be moderated for language, and if required, brevity); or write to me using the contact form on the “contact” page.
Let the excitement begin, lets change
